We are seeking an experienced Kotlin / Java Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities
- Research, design and develop cutting-edge cellular communications solutions using Kotlin, Java and supporting technologies including Akka, Gradle, GitLab and Docker
- Design and implement systems using Domain Driven Design (DDD), Reactive Architecture and Actor-based models
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including unit, integration and end-to-end testing frameworks
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, system architects and product managers to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Contribute to architectural and technological decision-making across the engineering stack
- Work within cross-functional Agile teams, following Agile methodologies and best practices
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Kotlin and Java software development
- Strong experience with functional programming, message-based communication, Reactive programming, DDD and TDD
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and develop tools based on specifications
- Self-directed with strong ability to plan and execute work independently
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills
