Holt Executive are partnered with a global Satellite and Space leader that provides reliable and secure satellite-delivered voice and high-speed data communications solutions to broadcast, telecommunications, corporate and government customers worldwide. They are now developing a LEO constellation that will revolutionize global broadband connectivity for enterprise.
Our partner is seeking a Systems Configuration Manager with software configuration management experience to play a vital role in in the success of their LEO constellation.
Key Responsibilities for the Systems Configuration Manager:
- Define, develop, and manage configuration management process and procedures.
- Maintenance of the inventory system assets.
- Controlling and documenting systems, hardware and software configurations.
- Supporting the software development, test environment managers and verification and test teams.
- Ensure that all required documentation has been generated, signed-off and captured.
- Keep the Configuration Identification Tree and other related systems configuration documentation/data up to date.
- Support the definition, preparation, and execution of configuration item status.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Configuration Management processes, procedure, standards, and systems.
- Ensure that all released documents are appropriately validated, logged, captured and status updated in the Document Centre.
Key Skills & Experience for the Systems Configuration Manager:
- A degree in engineering/science, or another related field.
- Experience in working in an engineering design environment, interfacing with hardware, systems, software, and test Engineers.
- Experience in Data Management and/or Configuration Management
- Related experience in Release Management.
- Formal training, certification or experience in the use and application of Configuration Management standards.
- Experience using Software configuration management processes and tools.
- Ability to, and experience in effectively communicate with technical and non-technical individuals.
The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and be able to obtain a Reliability Clearance.
This opportunity offers a hybrid work model with 4 days in the office per week and occasional travel is anticipated.
