Project Manager – Shape the Future of Nanosatellites

Holt Executive has partnered with a leader in nanosatellites manufacturing and operation, to provide custom communication solutions for their clients.
Our partner is seeking a Project Manager to lead intricate projects for international clients, comprising commercial, government ventures and defence agencies. You will collaborate closely with management, project staff and other departments to estimate, plan and deliver project success and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities for the Project Manager:
- Oversee complex projects from concept to launch, ensuring successful execution and mission accomplishment.
- Foster open communication and collaboration with international clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and achieve project goals.
- Secure and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with client requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Implement strategies to ensure the timely completion of deliverables while maintaining quality standards.
- Optimise project execution by balancing budget constraints with project timelines for successful delivery.
- Plan and execute timely ordering of parts, components, services, and resources to meet project deadlines.
- Develop and manage project budgets and resource allocation plans.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular project status reports using the company Project Model framework.
- Lead and manage combined agile and ‘classic’ projects, following the company Project Model including contributions to project model improvements.
- Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across different business units and geographical locations to ensure seamless project execution.
- Actively participate in developing and presenting compelling bids and proposals to secure new space exploration projects.
Key Skills & Experience for the Project Manager:
- Must have 3 to 5 years of project management experience in a related field.
- Educational background in engineering: systems, software, hardware or related subject.
- Experience with technically complex projects.
- Possess a deep understanding of both commercial and technological strategies.
- Understand how to manage a project financially and apply Earned Value Management principles.
- A certification in IPMA, PMP or PRINCE2 as documentation of your project management skills is an advantage.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
