Finance Manager (part-time) –  (Luxembourg)

About the Role As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring their financial health and compliance while supporting strategic decision-making. You will oversee all financial operations, from accurate record-keeping and payroll management to investor relations and budgeting, contributing directly to their mission of redefining the space industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Operations: Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Luxembourg accounting regulations and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Budgeting & Cash Flow: Manage cash flow and budgeting processes to optimize resources across multiple projects.
  • Payroll & Compliance: Oversee salary sheet preparation, tax withholdings, and social security contributions, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg labor laws.
  • Stakeholder Management: Cultivate relationships with banks, government institutions, and other financial stakeholders, while managing contracts and procurement activities.
  • Customer & Vendor Management: Ensure timely invoicing, payment receipt, and vendor payments while tracking expenses and optimizing procurement processes.
  • Strategic Support: Develop financial projections, prepare investor presentations, and provide insights to support decision-making and fundraising activities.
  • Efficiency Improvements: Identify opportunities for cost optimization and set financial KPIs aligned with growth objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a Luxembourg-based startup or growth-stage company.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Luxembourg accounting principles, payroll management, and financial analysis.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative mindset. Experience with fundraising and investor relations is highly desirable.
