The successful Defence Sales Manager will be responsible for generating growth from existing clients and identifying new opportunities. Key Responsibilities for the Defence Sales Manager:
- Manage existing accounts, maximising growth potential and ensuring ongoing business success.
- Identify and pursue new customers in the defence market, aiming to secure their business.
- Ensure all clients, both existing and new, are fully informed about our comprehensive range of products, including hardware, solutions, airtime, projects, parts, and services.
- Provide professional and timely sales support to specified customers, meeting their expectations and enhancing their experience.
- Strengthen relationships with partners and suppliers, collaborating to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and drive mutual benefits.
- Ensure smooth handling of sales orders and service issues, keeping customers informed of delivery timelines and issue resolution progress.
Key Skills and Experience Required by the Defence Sales Manager:
- Have a strong background in defence or government sales, particularly with the German Armed Forces.
- You must hold or be eligible to obtain German Security Clearance Ü2.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both German and English, essential for interacting with our head office and customers.
- Experience working in an international company with strong customer relationship skills, both remotely and face-to-face, with a deep understanding of customer needs and commercial awareness.
