Our partner is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Luxembourg. The successful incumbent will have proven software engineering experience with both theoretical and firsthand experience.
Key Responsibilities for the Embedded Software Engineer:
- Design, debug, test, and verify the embedded software for the free-space optical communication terminal.
- Develop, debug, test, and validate software for ground support equipment.
- Review and author comprehensive technical documentation.
Key Skills and Experience for the Embedded Software Engineer:
- Master’s degree in software engineering (or equivalent) is required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for high-quality execution are essential.
- Expert in C/C++ for bare-metal and OS-hosted applications.
- Experience with real-time operating systems a plus.
- Proficiency in version control systems is required.
- Fast prototyping and testing experience with strong collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Linux environments preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite and Teams proficiency is a plus, but willingness to learn quickly is valued.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication in English, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience writing clear and concise technical documentation is preferred.
- EU and NATO member state citizenship a plus.
