Product Manager (Maritime-Crew Welfare) – Role Overview:
- Strategize and Execute: Define, maintain, and implement the product roadmap for Crew Welfare, aligning with management and product teams.
- Lifecycle Management: Lead the product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life, including migration planning.
- Market Insight: Translate regulatory environment, customer needs and pain points, market trends and competitive landscape into product requirements and compelling value propositions.
- Solution Development: Create solutions both onboard and onshore, for crew connectivity, onboarding, and training – increasing crew happiness and leading to crew retention.
- Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless compliance and solution delivery.
- Organize commercial initiatives (campaigns, promotions) within budget and guidelines to promote key services.
- Maintain product documentation, sales materials, training, and process flows up to date on all portals.
- Drive the development and deployment of reliable satellite and terrestrial communication solutions, including prepaid platforms, to enhance crew connectivity, streamline payment and billing processes, and improve overall crew satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and report on KPIs for product portfolio scope including but not limited to service penetration, usage, financial performance, and initiate improvements to boost customer satisfaction.
- Communication Solutions: Enhance crew connectivity via reliable satellite platforms, improving billing processes and satisfaction.
Product Manager (Maritime-Crew Welfare) – Key experience required:
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or International Management.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Balanced Skill Set: Blend of commercial, operational, and technical experience.
- Proven success in product management, agile methodologies, launching new services and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
- Strong technical knowledge of connectivity, cybersecurity & safety standards, and digital media.
- Have a strong passion for Product Management.
- Familiarity with maritime regulations and crew management challenges.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proactive problem-solving capability and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proactive mindset and a solutions-driven, can-do attitude.
- Collaborative, trustworthy, and reliable team player; comfortable working independently when necessary.
