Join an innovative Global Sales Engineering (GSE) team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of satellite and terrestrial communication technologies. This pivotal role focuses on pioneering technical support in both pre- and post-sales activities, focused on advanced satellite and terrestrial communication solutions. You’ll play a strategic part in supporting U.S. regional teams, with your impact expanding globally.

Main Responsibilities for the Senior Solutions Engineer Specialist:
- Design and propose cost-effective communication solutions using the Lightspeed technology based on customer requirements.
- Validate technical requirements and details, by collaborating closely with Global Sales teams and customer engineering contacts.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of proposals, actively participating in customer meetings to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Spearhead the identification of new solutions within product portfolio to drive revenue opportunities.
- Engage directly with customers to manage upgrades, assess network performance, and resolve service issues.
- Work in tandem with Marketing and Product teams to optimize network capacity utilization.
- Support project life cycles from design to implementation, ensuring robust solution deployment.
- Maintain and update engineering databases and information management systems.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and technical demonstrations.
Key Experience required for the Senior Solutions Engineer Specialist:
- Demonstrable experience in systems engineering or connectivity solutions, preferably with a background in Carrier, Mobile Network Operator (MNO), or Wholesale environments.
- Robust knowledge of telecommunications standards and implementations including MEF 3.0, OSI Layers 1 (Optical, HFC, WDM), 2 & 3 (Switching, STP, VLAN, MPLS, Carrier Ethernet, IP, etc.), network management platforms (SolarWinds, WhatsUp Gold, etc.), and modern cellular networking technologies, 3G/ 4G/ 5G.
- Proficiency in protocol acceleration, web caching, traffic management, and network security practices.
- Outstanding analytical skills, capable of managing multiple complex projects and forging strong relationships across teams and with customers.
- Professional credentials such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or Juniper JNCIA/ENT are desirable.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking, Cloud Computing, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a preference for expertise in satellite communications, RF link analysis, and RF hardware.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally to meet business and client needs.
