Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to play a critical role in delivering key engineering services for the MOD and government partners.
The successful Senior Systems Engineer will be vital across various projects in communications, signals intelligence, situation awareness, and CEMA Maritime. You will spearhead the development of next-generation, beyond-line-of-sight radio frequency communication solutions, ensuring success for both national and international clients.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Systems Engineer:
- Spearhead cutting-edge design solutions by maturing system architecture, product design, and delivering high-quality contract engineering deliverables.
- Navigate complex integrations, owning and directing interfaces and trade-offs between systems, subsystems, and functionalities.
- Bridge the gap from concept to reality, leading technical solutions for customer requirements from ideation to in-life support.
- Bring innovation to life by developing, building, testing, and trial solutions that push boundaries.
- Ensure clarity and precision by creating comprehensive and high-quality design documentation.
Key Skills and Experience for the Senior Systems Engineer:
- Hold the ability and drive to think with a systems perspective as defined by INCOSE.
- Ability to create and manage interfaces, specifications and certificates, producing boundary views and identifying ownership across the System of Interest (SoI), Wider Systems of Interest (WSoI) and its environment.
- Engineering expertise across the engineering lifecycle V-Model from initial concepts, requirements, design, implementation, integration, verification, validation, maintenance and supportability
- You will demonstrate System concepts and lifecycle selection, System capability issues, Enterprise and technology environment, Architectural design, Concept generation and Functional analysis.
- HNC/HND or Degree in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering however, our client values difference and does not have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and/or willingness to learn.
