For the Spectrum / Regulatory Engineering hire, our partner is looking for a diligent and proactive tactical thinker who can work independently and a part of a team.

Key Responsibilities for the Spectrum / Regulatory Engineer:

• Participate in national preparations for World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRCs) and ITU-R Working Parties
• Represent in regulatory committees and working groups on frequency allocation and spectrum sharing matters, for example the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and regional organizations
• Represent in standardization bodies, such as 3GPP and ETSI
• Develop positions, strategies and input contributions for meetings
• Provide technical support on market access and business development activities
• Advise market development, commercial and engineering teams, as well as senior management, on regulatory opportunities and risks
• Plan and carry out ITU frequency coordination of networks in various frequency bands, including L-band, S-band, C-band, Ka-band and Q/V-band
• Prepare strategy for frequency coordination and orbital slot acquisition

 
Key Experience and Qualifications for the Spectrum / Regulatory Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Science, Maths or another related technical discipline and 5+ years of professional relevant experience
• Knowledge of satellite communications systems (link budgets, general radio theory and basic orbital mechanics), national and international spectrum regulations, policies and spectrum regulatory, registration and coordination processes
• Knowledge of non-satellite wireless products, services and technologies
• Experience of working in international regulatory and standardization for a, such as ITU
• Understanding of policy and regulatory issues in the satellite sector, especially with regard to licensing and market access
• Knowledge of broadband communications, and radiofrequency spectrum technology
• Programming and interference analysis skills

Are you an experienced Programme Manager with a passion for delivering complex, high-impact engineering projects in the defence or aerospace sector?

We’re seeking a confident and strategic Programme Manager to take ownership of a multi-project programme within the Land domain. This is a key role in shaping the successful delivery of technically advanced projects, from initial concept through to customer delivery.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Programme Director, you will lead a suite of interlinked customer and R&D projects, ensuring successful delivery across all phases — from planning and resourcing to execution and closeout. Your leadership will be central to driving commercial outcomes, building strong customer relationships, and supporting project management capability across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects within a high-profile defence programme
• Drive delivery against profit, revenue, and growth targets
• Ensure effective integration of project planning, risk management, and resource coordination
• Lead proposal planning, labour estimation, and development of project schedules
• Ensure successful initiation and transition of both internal and external projects
• Provide direction and high-level communication across project boards and strategic partners
• Liaise with engineering and departmental leads to align technical objectives and resourcing
• Maintain robust forecasting of labour and capacity needs using planning tools
• Mentor and manage Project Managers within the programme, including recruitment and development
• Support regular programme reporting and escalation of key risks and issues
• Monitor project financials (revenue, cash-flow, margin forecasts) and lead recovery actions when needed

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

• Proven experience managing multi-project defence/aerospace programmes (preferably international)
• Strong commercial insight and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
• Recognised project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP)
• Background in engineering or complex technical project delivery
• Experience guiding teams in a fast-paced, agile, and continuous improvement culture
• Skilled in project planning tools such as Microsoft Project
• Ability to travel within the UK and internationally as required (valid driving licence and passport)

Our client is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, specialising in supporting military, commercial, and private aviation customers worldwide. With facilities and a team of highly skilled professionals, they are committed to delivering excellence in aircraft maintenance and engineering solutions.

Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Auditor with experience in compliance and auditing in the Civil Aviation Industry or the equivalent. Experience will ideally have been gained within a Part 145 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing independent compliance audits to support the Compliance Monitoring Plan
• Assessing and auditing contracting and sub-contracting organisations for suitability to work under the Company Engineering Management System.
• Supporting the Compliance Monitoring Manager in any matter related to ensurance of compliance of the organisation with the current regulatory requirements, including but not limited to:

• Investigating, determining root causes and root cause corrections and elaborating reports to support closure of findings issued to the organisation by Customers or the Competent Authority.
• Supporting the Compliance Department Team with professional advice related to compliance matters.
• Preparation and revision of the Company MOE and associated TPMs ensuring their compliance with Part 145 and other relevant regulations.
• Preparing and delivering training to staff as part of the company internal training programme, as agreed with the Compliance Monitoring Manager.

The Successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience auditing ideally within Part 145 or Aviation environment.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to conduct internal and external audits.
• Have the ability and confidence to communicate at all levels and work effectively with all personnel.
• Have experience and knowledge of EASA/CAA regulations and Management systems.
