B1 Licenced Engineer
Our Client, a leader in aircraft maintenance, are are currently seeking dedicated and experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to join their growing team. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness of customers’ aircraft, performing maintenance tasks, and conducting inspections in compliance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of aircraft types, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, in accordance with approved data and regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis to identify and rectify defects in aircraft systems, avionics, and components.
- Carry out aircraft certification and release to service activities as a B1 Licensed Engineer, ensuring all work is completed to the required standards and documentation is accurately maintained.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel, engineers, and support staff to achieve efficient workflow and minimize downtime for aircraft.
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance within the team.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid CAA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with at least one relevant type rating. B727, B737(CL or NG), B757, A320, BE200 or BE300.
- Experience as a B1 Licensed Engineer, preferably in a Part-145 MRO environment.
- Experience working on multiple aircraft types, with particular proficiency in one or more of the following: Boeing, Airbus, Beechcraft.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics, and powerplants, with the ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with a meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Training Manager!
The Training Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering training programs that ensure compliance with Part 145 regulatory requirements, including EASA, UK CAA and MAA.
The role will support training requirements across the following airport locations:
- Birmingham – BHX
- Manchester – MAN
- Stanstead – STN
- Newquay – NQY
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Part 145 Maintenance Training Program, ensuring compliance with EASA, UK CAA, MAA and other applicable aviation regulations.
- To plan, support and coordinate the training and development activities of staff associated with the E7 Wedgetail Project based at the Birmingham site.
- Towork withBoeing representativestodevelop a strategywhichensurestrainingand development programmesaresuccessfully delivered across the E7 Wedgetail project.
- To be involved in all aspects of training including design and delivery of training materials and programmes whilst continually developing delivery.
- Ensure all training activities meet the requirements of the organisation’s MOE (Maintenance Organization Exposition) and regulatory authorities.
- Develop and maintain a set of training KPI’s and Goals and deliver results to Senior Leadership team.
- Support on-boarding and induction programs and arrange relevant training and approvals for new hires.
- Support the senior leadership team, reporting on training needs based on projected operational processes, organisational changes, and other factors.
- Develop and organise training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
- Manage the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) and training records.
- Review and evaluate training programmes for compliance with civil and UK MoD standards.
- Source and engage with external training providers to coordinate external technical and professional courses.
Skills and Experience
- EASA Part 145 & Part 147 Training – Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including MOE (Maintenance Organisation Exposition) training compliance.
- The ability todesign anddeliver a range of Aviation, Engineering and Production training programmes.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally coming from a Military or Aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Aviation, manufacturing and production processes.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- A proactive approach to training due to the fast-paced nature of the business.
- Continuous Learning and Development approach to ensure the training needs of the business are met.
- Good communication skills including the use of Microsoft Suite.
Desirable Training & Certifications
- Train-the-Trainer Certification.
- Competency-Based Training & Assessment (CBTA) Certification.
- Quality Management Systems (QMS) & Audit Training.
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) security clearance at SC Level.

Role Overview: As Project Manager, you will oversee the full lifecycle of high-tech engineering projects—from planning and execution to delivery and client handover. You’ll lead internal teams, manage external partners, and ensure all technical, budgetary, and timeline objectives are met, while maintaining strong communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project execution across engineering teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are met
- Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and change requests
- Coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internal and external
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, documentation, and review materials
- Support bid preparation and project proposal activities when needed
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry and quality standards
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in the space, aerospace, or high-tech sectors
- Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams
- Experience working with ESA/ECSS standards or similar regulatory frameworks
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or equivalent)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); other European languages are a plus
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in ground segment or satellite systems development
- Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management methodologies
- Experience managing international or multi-partner projects
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and supplier coordination
