Holt Executive are partnered with an innovative and leading design and manufacturing business that specialises in electro-optics and supplies to a variety of markets across the globe. Our partner is looking for an Electronics Engineer to work on a wide range of electro-optics products.

Are you an Electronics Engineer with a wealth of experience? Do you have a passion for technology, developing new products and thrive on seeing your efforts result in products with day-to-day use?

 Key Responsibilities for the Electronics Engineer:

  • Design, development and testing of electrical and electronic hardware.
  • FPGA development.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams and production in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Perform lab testing for verification and conformance of design outputs to meet the design inputs.
  • Be responsible for developing engineering reports to support new product designs, failure investigation and any other formal documentation to support customer requirements.
  • Manage engineering documentation in adherence to company quality procedures. Create and update design data, BOMs ECRs and other records ensuring accuracy.
  • Provide support for the production, test and field engineering teams.
  • Work with project managers and sales teams to provide time estimates for design activities and keep appraised of progress.
  • Support and assist the Sales Team in producing bids, proposals and quotations/sales literature.

 Key skills for the Electronics Engineer:

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar engineering discipline.
  • Have some experience in the development of electrical and electronic hardware.
  • Have some experience in software development.

 Desirable skills:

  • Have experience in the Defence industry or similar sectors (for example, scientific equipment manufacturers, special purpose machine builders or high-end customisation companies).
  • Experience with analogue and digital video.
  • FPGA development.
  • PCB design.
  • EMC best practice.

Security Clearance Requirements:
Due to the nature of our business, our staff need to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance as a mandated requirement.
