Holt Executive are partnered with a high-tech, and highly innovative Space solutions leader that are focused on the design, development and support of electronics-based systems, spanning products for satellite simulation and test, Electrical Ground Support Equipment, TT&C, TM/TC systems, modems, and data processing systems.
Our partner is seeking a PA/QA Engineer to join their team to take on the responsibility of ensuring their QMS (quality management system) is maintained and improved, as well as ensuring that their products and services are meeting and exceeding customer expectations in terms of quality and product assurance.
Key Responsibilities for the PA/QA Engineer:
Quality Assurance
- Maintenance of the quality management system.
- Initiating changes in the quality management system and successfully implementing the changes.
- Performance and coordination of internal audits and corrective actions.
- Coordinating and reporting quality key performance indicators to management.
- Coordinating and reporting Supplier evaluations.
- Managing deadlines for actions assigned related to the quality management system.
- Implementation of configuration management activities (documentation, hardware, software, etc)
Product Assurance
- Reviewing of customer requirements and ensuring that they can be/are being met.
- Preparing Product Assurance documentation.
- Preparing and managing RFD/RFW’s, NCR’s and participating in NRB/MRB’s.
- Participating in formal customer reviews (Design & Test related).
- Ensuring that manufacturing/assembly/testing processes comply with standards at internal/national and international levels.
- Interfacing with customers and suppliers.
- Supporting of external project milestone reviews.
- Coordinating configuration control processes and managing configuration baselines.
Key Skills & Experience for the PA/QA Engineer:
- An Engineering degree with 4+ years’ experience within Product and Quality Assurance.
- Experience with quality standards, including ISO 9001.
- Experience within the Space industry, and a working knowledge of ESA ECSS standards.
- Experience in auditing quality processes/procedures.
- Experience interfacing with customers, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
- Experience in configuration management.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the EU/EEA.
