Key Responsibilities for the Test Engineer:

  • Undertaking Factory Acceptance Tests using standard workshop test equipment such as power supplies, digital multi-meters & oscilloscopes.
  • Assist in creating test procedures and FAT documents.
  • Fault-find electromechanical equipment.
  • Effective communications with both technical and non-technical personnel.

  • Ensure that all procedures are followed as specified in the Quality Manual.

  • Support field service when required.

Key Skills & Experience Required by the Test Engineer:  

Essential –

  • Excellent knowledge of manual testing of electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to write comprehensive test plans and factory acceptance tests for new product launches.
  • Able to read complex technical drawings, wiring diagrams and PCB schematics.
  • Will be able to support production and quality activities when required.
  • ONC or equivalent in Electronics Engineering
  • Experience with manual testing and integration.
  • Computer Literate and competent with using Microsoft Word and Excel packages.

Desirable –

  • PCB testing and fault-finding experience

Key Responsibilities for the Safety & Compliance Manager:

  • Ensure compliance with MRP Part 145 & remain aware of any changes to regulations.
  • Establish a programme of training & continuation training using internal and/or external sources.
  • Interfacing with & maintaining relationships with regulatory authorities on quality assurance & regulatory approval issues that relate to airworthiness requirements.
  • Ensure the organisation operates within the Air Safety Management System developed by the relevant Duty Holder and applicable single-service quality policy.

  • Marketing and communications experience with a learning mindset for new products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient Adobe Suite (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Excellent business and marketing acumen.
  • Ability to lead and develop a successful communications team.
  • Experience creating and executing marketing campaigns across a variety of channels, including social media, email, and digital advertising.
