This Office and Facilities Co-Ordinator is an exciting opportunity comprising of a variety of responsibilities such as welcoming visitors, booking meeting rooms, issuing passes and catering through to ensuring that buildings and services consistently meet the needs of the staff working in them.    
 
Key Responsibilities for the Office and Facilities Co-Ordinator:

  • Answer phone calls and emails promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure buildings and their services meet the needs of the employees and liaise with suppliers to schedule annual service visits for gas boilers, intruder alarms, and fire detection systems and partner with maintenance companies to address any maintenance issues.
  • Greet visitors, book meeting rooms, issue passes, and coordinate catering arrangements.
  • Collaborate with the teams to book travel (flights, hotels, taxis) and create itineraries for staff.
  • Manage stock levels of all consumables for the site, including company-issued clothing.
  • Plan and execute company events when necessary.
  • Conduct weekly fire alarm checks and manage security call-out teams.
  • Assist the team with document style, presentation, and updates following team guidance.
  • Assist with HR tasks as needed and must uphold the privacy of confidential information.
  • Adhere to company procedures, policies, and goals.
  • Prioritise health and safety regulations and guidelines in all situations.
  • Ensure procedures are followed as outlined in the Quality Manual.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work documentation in accordance with BS EN9001.

Skills & Experience required by the Production Engineer:

Responsibilities for the Systems Configuration Management Specialist:

System Configuration Management

  • Attention to detail with respect to managing hardware and software development environments, and program technical data.
  • Understand ITAR processes.

  • Owner of all documentation defining configuration and verification status of the system
  • Control/document HW and SW configuration, as built

System Document/Requirements Management

  • Ensure that vendor deliverable documentation (Systems and IVV Contract Data Requirement List/Subcontract Data Requirement List (CDRL/SDRL)) are identified and tracked to schedule.
  • Ensure the internal Telesat Data requirements are identified and tracked to schedule, including release of all Technical Requirements Documents, Interface Requirement Documents, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Resolves data issues, distributes schedule notices for pending data submittals to ensure on-time delivery and creates status reports for management review and action.

 
Experience required by the Systems Configuration Management Specialist:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/science, or College Degree
  • 3+ years experience in Engineering or related field
  • Experience working in an Engineering design environment, interfacing with Hardware, Systems, Software, and Test Engineers
  • Experience using Software configuration management processes and tools
  • 2+ years of related experience in Data Management or Configuration Management (Desirable)

  • 3-6 years of related experience in Data Management and/or Configuration Management Proficiency
