Project Manager Location: Belgium
Role Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and successfully delivering projects that align with organizational goals, focusing on satellite communication technologies. This includes proposal support, contract negotiations, and managing resources to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage internal/external resources, customer relationships, and project teams.
- Ensure project adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
- Support contract proposals and negotiations.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Aerospace, Space, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years in space systems, with 2+ years of project management experience.
- Experience with ESA projects and security clearance is a plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience of having worked with institutional, defense and international organizations would be considered as an asset;
- Expertise in the following fields is considered a strong asset:
- Knowledge of ECSS standards and ESA project lifecycle;
- Experience with EU/ESA “protected” and “classified” projects.
- Skilled in the daily usage of office and project management software (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project…);
- Willing to travel internationally.
