Holt Executive is partnering with an innovative, fast-growing leader in navigation and robotics to find a Senior Proposal Manager/Global Bids to join their team.

This pivotal Senior Proposal Manager/Global Bids role will take ownership of identifying and managing complex bid opportunities, guiding the process from assessment to submission, presentation, negotiation, and evaluation. Enhancing the effectiveness of their Regional Sales Teams by delivering expert resources, including detailed RFx submissions.

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Proposal Manager/Global Bids:

  • Manage the internal ‘Deal Desk’ by maintaining standard response documents, including those related to security, export control, and legal matters.
  • Oversee vendor portals, vetting of non-standard terms and conditions, NDAs, and manage deviations from standard contract terms.
  • Gather and organize response content from internal subject matter experts, preparing it for the sales team to finalize.
  • Handle requests for deviations from standard contractual terms.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, management policies, and legal requirements across all bids.
  • Coordinate necessary approvals from various departments such as Finance, Legal, and Product Development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on proposal structure, quoting, pricing, contract alternatives, and value propositions to support deal closure.

Skills and Experience Required for the Senior Proposal Manager/Global Bids:

  • 3-5 years or more of experience in a deal desk or equivalent position, with a proven history of handling complex RFx procedures in the tech industry.
  • Exceptional writing skills with experience in government or large corporation tender responses highly regarded.
  • Adept in project and process management, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
  • Expertise in creating written and visual documentation.
  • Proficiency with G-suite, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for proofreading and detail.
  • Experience of commercial and contract frameworks within a technology company.
  • Knowledge of government trade and export licensing regulations in the EMEA region is beneficial.
