Holt Executive are partnered with a Silicon Valley based company that continues to solve communication and connectivity challenges for the US government. Having already delivered a radio that connects with GEO satellites 23,000 miles away, opening a new form of real-time and reliable connectivity from anywhere, they are now working on a robust geolocation alternative to GPS.
Our partner is seeking a Senior Signals Engineer to play a vital role in modeling, prototyping, and demonstrating the prototype system for this new product.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Signals Engineer:
- Work cross-functionally to prototype hardware using software-defined radios.
- Write customer radio receive modules in C++.
- Demonstrate prototype systems.
Key Skills & Experience Required by the Senior Signals Engineer:
- Strong knowledge of GNSS signal processing, and Digital Signal Processing math.
- Experience in radio communications (Radar, CDMA, RF receivers etc).
- Experience working with GNU radios, or other Software Defined Radio Systems.
- A keen interest in building something that has never been built before.
- Real-time embedded systems, and/or FPGA development is desired.
The successful Senior Signals Engineer must be a US Citizen and be open to working in Palo Alto, California.
