We are on the search for an experienced Strategic Account Manager to lead the expansion efforts across commercial markets. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, building solid customer relationships, increasing brand visibility, and capturing key strategic accounts.
Primary Responsibilities of the Strategic Account Manager Role:
- Driving revenue growth and securing orders by leveraging existing contacts, attracting new clients, and facilitating upsell opportunities.
- Overseeing the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, and presenting innovative solutions to both prospective and established customers.
- Working collaboratively with senior sales leaders and various teams to execute compelling Go-To-Market strategies.
- Articulating the value of our products and services by providing ROI analyses and showcasing qualitative benefits.
- Collaborating with Support and Product teams to customize our offerings to meet customer demands and guide future product innovations.
- Engaging with different internal teams to enhance sales tactics and expedite business expansion.
- Ensuring the precision and efficiency of our CRM system to provide accurate business forecasts.
Required Experience & Qualifications of the Strategic Account Manager Role:
- A minimum of 5 years in Sales and Account Management, ideally within technologically advanced industries such as automotive, mining, agriculture, autonomous vehicles, robotics, drones, geospatial/surveying, or aviation.
- Preferably knowledgeable in optical sensors, inertial sensors, acoustics, GNSS or robotics.
- Proven executive presence with strong skills in delivering impactful presentations.
- Capability to thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings while being an active team contributor.
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, specifically Salesforce.
- Availability to travel about 30% of the time.
