Holt Executive are partnered with a high-tech, and highly innovative Space solutions leader that are focused on the design, development and support of electronics-based systems, spanning products for satellite simulation and test, Electrical Ground Support Equipment, TT&C, TM/TC systems, modems, and data processing systems.
Our partner is seeking a System Engineer to support with the analysis of requirements, system designs, and technical discussions relating to projects ranging from laser communication systems to spacecraft test and simulation systems.
Key Responsibilities for the System Engineer:
- Review and analysis of customer requirements specifications (CRS) & Statements of Work.
- System decomposition and design spanning hardware, software, and COTS.
- Supporting with input for project resourcing, planning, cost trade-offs, new developments, project risks.
- Coordination of technical discussions/meetings both internally and externally.
- Writing design documentation and test plans.
- Attending and supporting reviews with customers (e.g. PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
- Configuring and integrating systems.
- Producing and/or coordinating system test procedures.
Key Skills & Experience for the System Engineer:
- A degree in Optical or Electronics Engineering.
- 2+ years’ experience within Systems engineering.
- Experience and/or knowledge in SDA, CCSDS, and ECSS standards is an advantage.
- Experience and/or knowledge with lab test equipment is an advantage.
- Experience and/or knowledge in modulation and coding techniques is an advantage.
- Experience within the Space or Aerospace industry is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the EU/EEA.
