- Experience with electronically steerable antenna technologies and modem integration.
- Experience supporting the deployment or commercialisation of ESA-based products is advantageous.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong background in the simulation, design, and testing of electronically steerable antennas for satellite communications.
- Knowledge of flat-panel antenna architectures and integration with a range of modem technologies.
- Familiarity with antenna control protocols and modem interoperability standards.
- Expertise in Ka-band antenna technologies for land mobile, aeronautical, maritime, and fixed communications applications.
- Understanding of satellite modems, gateway systems, RF equipment, and communications networks.
- Solid foundation in electromagnetics, phased array systems, and antenna architecture.
- Experience with RFIC selection, beamforming technologies, and array antenna manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of beam steering, beam shaping, and antenna control techniques.
- Ability to balance performance, cost, power consumption, and manufacturability in design decisions.
- Experience working with external suppliers and technology partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
