We are seeking a System Integration Test Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working on advanced satellite communication systems and next-generation connectivity solutions.

You will play a key role in designing and executing test plans, supporting system integration, and ensuring the performance and reliability of satellite communication products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements into test plans and detailed procedures
  • Set up test equipment and execute test cases across integration, OTA validation, and field testing
  • Integrate and test complete satellite user terminals, including active phased array antenna systems
  • Support engineering field testing, including customer interaction, reporting, and feedback coordination
  • Assist product transition through development phases, ensuring smooth validation and issue resolution
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution
  • Track test cases and ensure validation against requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Support product deployment and certification activities
  • Travel to customer or test sites as required (up to 15%)

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience
  • Experience developing and executing test plans based on product requirements
  • Background in testing satellite communication products or user terminal systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments
  • Experience working across cross-functional engineering teams
  • Networking knowledge (DHCP, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, routing, VLANs, subnetting)
  • Familiarity with test management tools and standard office software

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working with Linux-based systems
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g. spectrum analysers, signal generators)
  • Scripting or programming experience (e.g. Python, Shell)
  • Familiarity with collaboration and project tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the development of ground systems including Mission Control, Mission Planning, and Ground Station Interface Systems.
  • Derive and manage system requirements across the ground segment and its components.
  • Act as Product Owner or Technical Officer with external suppliers and support internal development teams during system design and integration.
  • Collaborate closely with Mission, Systems, and Operations teams to ensure technical alignment across disciplines.
  • Follow Agile (SCRUM) methodologies to implement requirements and maintain project schedules.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including requirements, verification plans, test procedures, and reports.
  • Conduct verification and validation activities, including system tests and simulation campaigns.
  • Support the Operations team during mission activities and assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of ground systems.

 
Essential Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in ground systems engineering.
  • Solid understanding of ground segment components and their interactions.
  • Knowledge of space mission design and development processes.
  • Experience in requirements engineering.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Mission Control Systems (e.g., SCOS-2000).
  • Knowledge of Automation Systems, Mission Planning, or Ground Station Communications.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with C++ and/or Java, Linux systems, and shell scripting.
