- Strong experience in Payload technology, and Radio Frequency (RF) engineering.
- Strong knowledge of satellite communication protocols, orbital mechanics, and space systems. Ideally with experience in software-defined satellite communication payloads.
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and space industry standards.
- Must be a US or Canadian Citizen.
The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain Reliability Clearance.

Our partner is seeking a Senior Mission Assurance Engineer to play a vital role in the development and deployment of mission assurance processes through the entire lifecycle of the program.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Mission Assurance Engineer:
- Be the main point of contact for the different program segments on mission assurance activities and deliverables.
- Reviewing and approvals of quality plans ensuring they meet contractual requirements.
- Attend and participate in design and manufacturing review meetings, ensuring that quality requirements are being met – covering design, manufacturing, inspection, test, and integration of products and software.
- Oversight of engineering documentation to set quality requirements.
- Non-conformance reviews.
- Responsible for corrective action, and preventative action processes.

- Installation, commissioning & fault diagnostics of VSAT fixed single and dual Antenna Systems
- Commissioning & fault diagnosis of single & multiple carrier services on the above systems related to specific manufacturer Satellite access technologies for SCPC, TDMA, IDirect, newtech & CnC
- Installation and commissioning of LEO VSAT systems such as Avanti
- Installation and commissioning of LTE services in the North Sea
- Installation of P2P/LOS and Fiber Optic WAN services
- Installation, configuration, and commissioning of managed Network Lan infrastructure on site
Key Experience Required – Telecommunication / Field Service Engineer – VSAT:

- Experience with making trade-offs between performance and cost at the component and the system level.
- Experience with the full lifecycle of hardware and modem designs – from inception, design, production, and fielding.
