Aerospace – Maintenance Service Representative
Holt Executive are partnered with a prominent aviation technology pioneer, providing market-leading products to some of the biggest names in commercial aviation. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Service Representative – Aerospace to perform on-site support in Amsterdam.
As Maintenance Service Representative – Aerospace you will perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and alterations to our clients In-flight Entertainment and Connectivity Systems on aircraft to include, but not limited to: troubleshooting and testing of electronic assemblies and units, the removal and replacement of electronic assemblies, units or cabling while installed in the aircraft and the modification and alteration of installed equipment.
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Service Representative – Aerospace:
- Perform built-in test (BIT) and manual test of IFE systems.
- Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling or seat consoles in which failures occur down to the line replaceable modules, using knowledge of electronic theory.
- Identify necessary repairs to restore functional acceptance, which may require the removal and replacement of defective line replaceable modules and/or cabling.
- Communicate and interface with customers.
- Document the testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.
- Receive, prepare parts and assist in tracking the spares inventory.
- Check aircraft logs for defects including deferrals.
- Maintain integrity of Maintenance Service Stores Inventory by completing all necessary stock room procedures, booking parts into stock, on to aircraft and out to repair.
- Endeavour to meet, greet and dispatch each and every flight and perform the required tasks as per contract.
- Ensure all necessary customer and Maintenance Service documentation is properly completed and filed prior to the end of the shift.
- Aircraft documentation to be completed in accordance with customer specific requirements.
Knowledge and Skills required by the Maintenance Service Representative– Aerospace:
- Must hold an EASA CAT A1, B1, B2 licence with B777/GE90 or A380 type rating.
- Aircraft maintenance experience is essential.
- Avionics/ IFE experience desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Must hold a valid Driver’s Licence.

They require a Senior Specialist Safety Engineer to join a growing systems safety engineering team in Bristol. The successful applicant will receive exposure and experience working on large scale projects with opportunities to advance their career in the field of systems safety applied to maritime control and automation systems.
The successful applicant will carry out safety assurance activities for the development and in-service support of complex electronic systems and support delivery of safe systems through the production of safety cases, underpinned by appropriate levels of safety engineering analysis.
Key Responsibilities required by the Senior Specialist Safety Engineer:
- To act as the safety Subject Matter Expert (SME) on a variety projects; supplying knowledge and experience in the defence environment for the development of real-time software and electronic systems in the function of Safety Engineering.
- To plan and carry out safety management activities, with review by safety peers, for project scope commensurate with applicable standards at the required Safety Integrity Level (SIL).

They require a Project Manager – Space Sustainability to work as part of a team that collectively leads space engineering missions. This will involve developing scalable solutions across the spectrum of satellite in-orbit servicing, space situational awareness, end of life and active debris removal. The successful incumbent will collaborate with multi-discipline functions and interact with partners across the space industry, as well as suppliers and customers.

Areas of Responsibility for the Project Manager – Space Sustainability:

• Production and maintenance of project management deliverables for internal and external stakeholders. Includes contractual deliverables, schedules, reports, risk registers, project and financial reporting, etc.
• Experience of planning and completing project review gates (Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, etc).
• Experience of working closely with Systems Engineering teams, including a high-level understanding of Systems activities such as architecture definition, CONOPS, requirements derivation, etc.
• Experience working with spacecraft sub-system functional teams such as Guidance Navigation Control (GNC / AOCS), Command & Data Handing (C&DH / OBDH), Propulsion, Software, Ground Segment, Operations, etc.

• Knowledge of the systems and project engineering lifecycle from requirements definition through to verification.
• Experience in mission and systems architecture definition, especially understanding of both space and ground segment interaction.
• Good knowledge of a range of subsystems & engineering teams including: GNC (AOCS, ADCS), astrodynamics, C&DH / OBDH, EPS, RCS (propulsion), COM (communications), software, ground segment & operations.
• Experience in the development of systems engineering documentation working with a Project Manager as needed: requirements, CONOPS, review gate materials, test and verification plans / procedures, DDVP, ICDs, equipment lists, FMECA & FTAs
• Awareness of the AIT process: manufacture, assembly, functional and environmental testing.
